I had the great opportunity to travel up to the bride's hometown in Pennsylvania to capture her wedding day. I want to say that Hannah and Cody had a small wedding at home, but this backyard ceremony was nothing but grand! I was proudly told that the men all worked together to build this fabulous ceremony site, and Hannah and her family paid so much attention to detail, I found more and more cute details around the house to photograph every way I turned. Hannah made sure to have a sign out with one of Cody's favorite quotes, written out below. We knew rain was in our midst, but no one can complain... when you hear the ominous sounds of thunder in the distance during the wedding vows, you really feel the presence of a higher power. The rain held off until after the ceremony, and just minutes to spare. The reception was held at Allegheny Grille, a venue overlooking the beautiful Allegheny River. This was special because the couple had one of their first dates boating down a river. These two engineers are a perfect match, and it was the most beautiful wedding day <3 Congrats to the lucky couple.
"Gravitation cannot be held responsible for falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity." - Albert Einstein
