It's the first day of spring - finally! I am excited to feature this spring wedding with vibrant colors, yellow flowers, and Scottish influence. Christina and Alexander met overseas, and they incorporated much of the groom's Scottish culture into the wedding. Alex donned his kilt for this May wedding at the Comus Inn in Dickerson, Maryland. Guests showed off their heritage with "Kiss Me I'm Scottish" and "Kiss Me I'm a yank" sunglasses and processed in behind a piper and his bagpipes. Programs opened into fans, perfect for such a sunny day as the bride walked down the aisle with Sugarloaf Mountain looking down in the distance. After a fabulous whiskey tasting complete with Scotch eggs, this wedding was full of dancing against a sunset backdrop. Even better, I can't wait until one of these bridesmaids becomes the bride; I have the honor of photographing Christina's sister's wedding this year!
